Cape Coral’s first food truck park and marina, Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina, is officially opening this weekend at 1811 Cape Coral Parkway E., just below the Cape Coral Bridge. The waterfront venue features 10 local food trucks, a full-service bar, shaded seating, 30 boat slips, a fuel dock and a Ship Store overlooking the Caloosahatchee River.

The venue was founded by longtime Southwest Florida residents Jeff Miloff, Gary Aubuchon, Scott Fischer, Sandra Dean, John Kulhavi, Chuck McGuirk and Rick McGuirk. Slipaway’s logo, featuring a smalltooth sawfish, pays tribute to the local waters.

“We love Cape Coral, and we are so happy to provide this one-of-a-kind experience for families and friends to celebrate and enjoy great food and drinks, incredible views and our Southwest Florida waterfront lifestyle,” Aubuchon said.

Slipaway will launch with a Fourth of July Bash, a ticketed event from 3 to 10 p.m. July 4. General admission is $100, with proceeds benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Guests can expect live music, food and drinks, giveaways and a prime viewing spot for Cape Coral’s Red, White and Boom fireworks show.

Regular hours begin Saturday, July 5, with bar service from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and food trucks operating from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The fuel dock will run daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Slipaway spans 3.1 acres with more than 100 parking spaces, making it accessible by land or water. The Ship Store offers essentials such as ice, sunscreen and snacks, while 300 seats throughout the park give guests plenty of shaded space to relax. Orders can be placed directly at the food trucks or via QR code, with runners delivering food to tables.

Food trucks include Addison’s Chicken SWFL, Chop it Up, Gigi Gourmet, Greek Spot Go, Lobster Chef, Not Yo Mama’s Tacos, Philly Express, SmokeStream BBQ, The Crooked Cow and Yunta Cuban.
