A new 252-unit affordable housing development was completed at 4150 Golden Gate Parkway, near Collier Boulevard on the former Golden Gate Golf Course property in Golden Gate. Renaissance Hall at Old Course, developed by Rural Neighborhoods and built by Naples-based DeAngelis Diamond, celebrated its ribbon-cutting Oct. 20. The 295,500-square-foot community includes nine three-story residential buildings, an amenity building, a swimming pool, playground and pickleball courts. The development is designed to provide below-market rents for essential workers in Collier County. Financing included support from Collier County, state and federal housing programs, private lenders and philanthropic organizations, including the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation and Collier Community Foundation.
