Rural Neighborhoods is opening The Renaissance, a 252-unit affordable housing community in the Golden Gate area of Collier County, with a grand opening scheduled for Oct. 20. The development, at 10815 Renaissance Circle, just north of Interstate 75 off Collier Boulevard, offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for households earning 50% to 120% of area median income. The project was developed through a public-private partnership involving Collier County and three private foundations, with additional federal and state financing. Amenities include a swimming pool, playground, soccer field, pickleball court and dog park. Naples-based DeAngelis Diamond served as contractor. Rural Neighborhoods now operates nearly 600 apartments across 10 Collier County communities.
