Naples-based medical device maker Arthrex is one of two finalists in the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Florida competition. Its TightRope PRO implant, developed at the company’s Naples headquarters and manufactured in Ave Maria, is designed to stabilize the ankle after high-ankle sprains and related injuries. The product faces Northrop Grumman’s E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft from St. Johns County for the statewide honor recognizing manufacturing innovation and economic impact. Public voting remains open through Oct. 23, with one ballot allowed daily at CoolestThingMadeInFlorida.com. The winner will be announced Oct. 28 at the Florida Chamber’s Future of Florida Forum in Orlando.
