Naples-based Avow received a $40,000 grant from the Moorings Park Foundation to expand palliative care for people living with serious and life-limiting illnesses across Southwest Florida. The grant, awarded through the foundation’s 2026-27 grant cycle, will support Avow’s Care & Comfort for the Seriously Ill initiative. Avow expects to serve at least 600 seniors during the grant period. Funding will support symptom management and care coordination, proactive patient monitoring, advance care planning and physician fellowship training. Avow’s palliative care program helps patients manage symptoms and navigate healthcare decisions while maintaining independence. The nonprofit provides healthcare and grief-support services throughout Southwest Florida.
