Cape Coral City Hall serves as the administrative headquarters for city government and the meeting place for Cape Coral City Council.
At its regular meeting Oct. 7, Cape Coral City Council approved a $1,381,900 contract with GenServe LLC, doing business as L.J. Power Inc. The company will handle the city’s generator maintenance, repair and installation needs through Oct. 27, 2027, or until a new contract is in place, according to meeting agenda documents. Cape Coral began contracting with L.J. Power in October 2022 and has continued to extend the company’s services to meet daily operational needs as the city grows. City staff requested the extension as they develop an expanded range of service requirements that reflect the city’s needs, including generator inspections, cleaning, repairs and replacements as needed.
