Cape Coral City Council approved funding for a new electronic message board at Lake Kennedy Community Park that will promote facilities including The Courts Pickleball and Tennis Facility, pictured, and share public safety notices.

Cape Coral City Council members agreed to purchase an 11.75-foot-wide electronic message board to be installed at the entrance to Lake Kennedy Community Park for $136,678.72. Cape Coral staff told council members that the sign may be used to promote Sun Splash Waterpark and The Courts Pickleball and Tennis Facility. The sign’s messaging also will be integrated with other electronic signs throughout the city. Sign-On LLC, in accordance with Equalis Group LLC, is set to install the marquee sign and LED digital display board to communicate a wide variety of public notices, such as safety or hurricane evacuation messages.
