Collier County commissioners recognized Fun Time Early Childhood Academy’s 65th anniversary, honoring the Naples nonprofit for its contributions to early childhood education and working families. Commissioner Dan Kowal sponsored a proclamation designating Oct. 13 as Fun Time Early Childhood Academy 65th Anniversary Celebration Day. Founded in 1961, the nationally accredited academy provides affordable early education for children from underserved families, helping prepare them for kindergarten while allowing parents to remain in the workforce. The proclamation recognizes the organization’s role in supporting local families and Collier County’s economy through more than six decades of early childhood education.
