McDowell Housing Partners announced the financial closing and start of construction on Ekos Creekside, a 160-unit affordable housing community at 6360 Collier Blvd. in East Naples. The seven-story project will provide apartments for households earning 30% to 80% of the area median income, with rents more than 30% below market rates. Ekos Creekside is McDowell’s fourth affordable housing project in the Naples area and will include amenities such as a pool, fitness center, business center and clubhouse. The project is supported by Collier County’s Workforce Housing Land Acquisition Surtax Fund, along with financing from the Florida Housing Finance Corp., Fifth Third Bank, Barings LLC and CREA LLC. Completion is expected in mid-2027.
