Florida Lions Eye Clinic receives $20K Collier grant

Florida Lions Eye Clinic received a $20,000 grant from the Collier Community Foundation to expand access to free vision care for eligible Collier County residents. The nonprofit, headquartered at 10322 Pennsylvania Ave. in downtown Bonita Springs, provides comprehensive eye examinations, diagnostic testing, medications, eyeglasses and surgical treatment for uninsured and underinsured patients. Services include treatment for cataracts, glaucoma and other eye conditions. Founded in 2008, the organization operates its main clinic in Bonita Springs and a satellite location in Naples, serving patients throughout Florida, particularly Lee and Collier counties. The grant will support expanded access to care.
