The Goddard School opened a 12,500-square-foot early childhood education center at 13521 Goldenwood Drive in Arborwood Village, just northwest of Daniels Parkway and Treeline Avenue in south Fort Myers. The school has 10 classrooms accommodating approximately 180 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years and adds 30 teaching jobs. Its facilities include an indoor gymnasium with a rock wall, an outdoor classroom and multiple playgrounds. Local residents Phil and Darlene DuBois own the school in partnership with franchisees Dina and Matt Speranza, who collectively operate 15 Goddard School locations. The center uses the franchise’s inquiry-based Wonder of Learning curriculum to support early childhood development.
