Vineyards Country Club’s newly renovated North Course earned national recognition from Golf Digest, which named it one of the country’s top “Best Transformations” among redesigned golf courses. Editors evaluated more than 350 renovated courses nationwide and selected fewer than 50 projects that delivered a substantially new architectural identity. The North Course is the only course in Southwest Florida to earn the honor and one of just three statewide. The recognition follows a full redesign of the North Naples championship 18-hole course, completed in December. Renovations included expanded yardage from professional tees, recontoured fairways, larger greens, rebuilt bunkers and upgraded drainage. The course was fully returfed with Bimini Bermudagrass and TifEagle greens, and a new irrigation system was installed to improve water efficiency and long-term sustainability.
