Grace Place for Children and Families received a $410,000 Naples Children Foundation grant to support its Bright Beginnings family literacy program and transportation for students in Collier County.
Grace Place for Children and Families received a $410,000 grant from the Naples Children Foundation to expand education programs in Collier County. The grant provides $310,000 for Bright Beginnings, Grace Place’s family literacy program serving young children and their parents together, and $100,000 for student transportation. Bright Beginnings prepares children for kindergarten while helping parents improve English literacy and their ability to support their children’s education. Transportation funding will help students and families reach Grace Place programs in the Golden Gate community. The Naples nonprofit provides free, family-centered English literacy programs and enrolls more than 1,300 students annually.
