Lee County will begin preliminary work May 4 on intersection improvements at Treeline Avenue and Daniels Parkway. Early work includes erosion control, traffic control installation and surveying from Jetport Loop to Heartwood Boulevard. Planned upgrades include converting a northbound left-turn lane to a thru lane, adding a second northbound right-turn lane, making ADA improvements at nearby intersections and enhancing traffic signals. The project is expected to be completed later this year at an estimated cost of $3 million.
