Developers, city officials and community leaders will gather Nov. 6 to break ground on Midtown at Bonita, a 68-acre mixed-use destination on Bonita Beach Road just east of Interstate 75. The development, led by The Zuckerman Group, will feature retail, restaurants, residences, offices and more than 30 acres of preserved open space. Tenants announced so far include Chipotle, Panera Bread, The Hangry Bison, Gelato & Co. and Club Pilates. Developers said Midtown at Bonita, 13000 Bonita Beach Road SE, is designed to be a pedestrian-friendly hub where residents can live, work and gather while reducing traffic and supporting local growth.
