Fort Myers-based NeoGenomics has named President and Chief Operating Officer Warren Stone its next CEO as part of a planned leadership transition. Stone, 54, will become CEO and join the cancer diagnostics company’s board Jan. 4. He joined NeoGenomics in 2022 and previously served as president of Clinical Services and chief commercial officer. Current CEO Tony Zook will become executive chairman. Board Chair Lynn Tetrault will step down as chair but remain an independent director until the company’s 2027 annual meeting. NeoGenomics also expects third-quarter revenue of approximately $209 million, with next-generation sequencing revenue growing about 28% year over year.
