Parrotta named to lead Sunseeker Resort after sale, rebrand

Vince Parrotta was appointed vice president and managing director of Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, bringing more than 30 years of luxury hospitality experience to the waterfront property. The announcement follows the resort’s $200 million sale to Blackstone Real Estate, which closed Sept. 4, and its rebrand under Hilton’s Curio Collection. Formerly Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor, the 785-room destination opened in late 2023 and features multiple pools, 20 restaurants and bars, an 18-hole golf course and 60,000 square feet of meeting space. Parrotta, who has held senior leadership roles at Four Seasons and Omni Hotels & Resorts, will oversee operations as Blackstone and management firm Pyramid Global Hospitality aim to expand convention business and strengthen the resort’s position as a premier Florida destination.
