RSW passenger traffic edges up in September

Southwest Florida International Airport in south Fort Myers served 551,322 passengers in September, a 0.2% increase from the same month last year, according to Lee County Port Authority data. Passenger traffic remains down 0.5% through the first nine months of 2026. Delta led all airlines with 140,755 passengers, followed by Southwest with 101,974, American with 95,789, United with 86,024 and Breeze with 43,136. RSW recorded 5,823 aircraft operations, up 9% year over year. Meanwhile, Page Field, the general aviation airport off Fowler Street in Fort Myers, reported 17,061 operations, a 22% increase.
