Southwest Florida International Airport reported 647,917 passengers in August, a 5% increase from the same month in 2024 and the best August in the airport’s 43-year history. Year-to-date traffic is down 0.3%, according to Lee County Port Authority data. Delta led all carriers with 152,803 passengers, followed by Southwest (107,919), American (97,808), United (95,540) and JetBlue (70,952). The airport recorded 6,013 aircraft arrivals and departures, up 11% from August 2024. Page Field in Fort Myers reported 12,323 operations, down 5% year over year.
