STARability Foundation raised more than $5 million in less than a week, including a record $3.8 million at its eighth annual STAR Gala at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón, and a subsequent $1.2 million gift supporting its future campus. Nearly 600 guests attended the sold-out event, which featured performances, auctions and donor pledges. Funds will support STARability’s enrichment and vocational programs for individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities and help advance development of a new regional campus in Naples. The total surpassed last year’s $3.2 million gala record.
