Midtown at Bonita adds Starbucks, Alea restaurant

A rendering shows the planned Midtown at Bonita mixed-use development on Bonita Beach Road, about a quarter-mile east of Interstate 75 in Bonita Springs. Starbucks and Mediterranean restaurant Alea are the latest additions to the development’s growing tenant lineup.

Starbucks and Alea, a new family-owned Mediterranean restaurant, have joined the tenant lineup at Midtown at Bonita, bringing the development’s retail space to about 75% leased. The 68-acre project is at 13000 Bonita Beach Road SE, about a quarter-mile east of Interstate 75 in Bonita Springs. Alea will feature Mediterranean cuisine with Greek influences, shareable dishes and an outdoor bar. The restaurants join TJ Maxx, Ulta Beauty, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Panera Bread and other tenants. Midtown is expected to begin opening in the fourth quarter. The development also includes the recently opened 400-unit Paradiso Bonita Springs apartment community and plans for a boutique hotel, offices and more than 30 acres of preserved open space.
