As Alta Resources prepares to hire an additional 350 to 400 employees in the Fort Myers area, the Wisconsin-based customer-management, business-process outsourcing company plans to unveil its new $27.6 million building at 9 a.m. May 9 at Skyplex on Paul J. Doherty Parkway, just north of Southwest Florida International Airport in unincorporated Lee County. The 98,000-square-foot building spans three floors and can accommodate more than 1,000 employees. Alta established a Fort Myers presence in 2013 with an office at 12600 Gateway Blvd., less than a mile from the new office, providing support for its globally recognized clients, such as Stellantis and Kellogg Co.
