Bay Pines VA Healthcare System appointed nurse practitioner Melissa Kilian to lead the Cardiac Device Clinic at Lee County Healthcare Center in Cape Coral. Over the past six months, veterans with pacemakers and similar devices received care at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines and through community care services. The clinic is expected to reopen by the end of February. The organization is now contacting Cardiac Device Clinic veterans to inform them of the clinic’s status and working to schedule appointments.
