Breeze Airways will begin nonstop routes from Southwest Florida International Airport to Burlington, Vermont, and Long Island, New York, in October. The airline started service from the south Fort Myers airport in June 2022 and expanded to 21 destinations, recently making RSW one of the airline’s bases of operations. Flights to Long Island MacArthur Airport will operate Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting Oct. 2. Routes to Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport will operate Mondays and Fridays, starting Oct. 4.
