Cape Coral City Council appointed Public Works Director Michael Ilczyszyn as interim city manager. In his new role, Ilczyszyn will oversee the day-to-day operations of the city. He began his career with the city in 2002 as a water treatment plant operator and was promoted to business manager within the public works department before moving into the city manager’s office as business manager for the city.
