The Cape Coral Bridge and connecting streets will be closed for the Freedom 5K race and the Red, White & Boom celebration. Road closures start at 3 a.m. July 4 and end at 3 a.m. July 5. These roadways include the Cape Coral Bridge, Cape Coral Parkway from SE 15th Avenue/Cape Coral Street to the bridge and Del Prado Boulevard from SE 47th Terrace to Miramar Street/Waikiki Avenue. Motorists are encouraged to use the Veteran’s Memorial, U.S. 41 or Business 41 bridges as alternate routes.
