Cape Coral City Council approved a privately initiated rezoning request by Christian Life Fellowship for three parcels at 1150, 1160 and 1200 SW 20th Ave. Collectively totaling about 20 acres, the request is to change the zoning from commercial agricultural to the commercial corridor district zoning to remove the inconsistency that exists with the future land use classification. The church has been on the property since 2008 and seeks to continue to expand the facility’s campus, which the zoning change will allow it to do, TDM Consulting Senior Planner Veronica Martin said.
