Cape Coral Community Redevelopment Agency has issued its first Demolition Assistance Grant to Nautilus Equity Group LLC for the removal of a hazardous structure at 4528 SE 15th Ave. The grant, worth up to $30,750, supports the CRA’s new program aimed at clearing blighted buildings to promote redevelopment and public safety. The building posed serious risks due to mold and asbestos, city officials said. Nautilus plans to demolish the structure to prepare for future development, aligning with the CRA’s goals to revitalize the South Cape district.
