The Capital Grille fine dining and steakhouse is set to open June 24 at Bell Tower in south Fort Myers. Known for dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and a world-class wine list, the 10,156-square-foot restaurant was built near the southwest corner of the shopping center on land formerly occupied by the old Mimi’s Cafe at 5070 Bell Tower Shops Ave. Steaks are hand-carved daily by the restaurant’s butcher, with selections including bone-in New York strip, porcini-rubbed, bone-in, dry-aged ribeye with 15-year aged balsamic and sliced filet mignon with cipollini onions, wild mushrooms and fig essence, among others. Signature dishes include pan-fried calamari with hot cherry peppers, lobster mac ‘n’ cheese and lobster and crab cakes. The location features a lounge, as well as six private spaces for events. The dining room is open daily for dinner, with hours Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m., as well as lunch weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
