Meredith McLean was selected as the new director of Collier County Domestic Animal Services. County officials said McLean’s experience in planning, organizing and spearheading animal welfare programs will make her a key asset in leading the professional staff and volunteer corps. McLean, who starts on Sept. 3, said she will apply her skills to build partnerships, strengthen community outreach and increase adoption rates.
