The eConnect permit portal for Lee County Department of Community Development, Department of Transportation, Natural Resources and Lee Utilities Department will be offline from 5 p.m. May 16, until 7 a.m. May 19, for technical upgrades.
The services impacted during the outage period will include filing new submittals, downloading permits and plans, uploading documents and plans, making payments, viewing record details and status and scheduling inspections. Customers can use the phone line during the outage period to schedule inspections and make payments. The VoicePermits Interactive Voice Response system will be available throughout the weekend update. The IVR phone number is 239-533-8997.
County officials said the upgraded permit portal will enhance business operations, allowing for an easier user experience and streamlining the plan-review process. It will also improve transparency and engagement through real-time updates and is expected to accelerate the permit-approval process.
The current portal’s web address (aca.leegov.com) will remain the same.
