Construction will begin on the six-building Signature Storage Suites, 16291 Pine Ridge Road, in Fort Myers in the second quarter of 2023. Local developers Scott Allan and Tom Torgerson are continuing a trend of man-cave-style living Allan first introduced with the 62-unit Island Storage Suites on Pine Ridge Road. The 80 climate-controlled and customized suites scheduled to be completed by the end of the year could feature vintage car collections, pool tables, bars, couches, wall-to-wall televisions, top-of-the-line sound systems and other personal touches, company officials said. The suites range in size from 1,430 to 2,100 square feet with 20-foot-high ceilings. There also is an option of adding an upper-level mezzanine and framed staircase with a wet bar and a half or full bathroom with a custom tile shower. There will be 12 units per building. Other amenities on the 17-acre site include a car wash and open green space. Prices for units in Signature Storage Suites range from $336,000 to more than $400,000.
