Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency approved Commercial Property Improvement Matching Grants for the Downtown and Cleveland Avenue redevelopment areas. The first grant is in the not-to-exceed amount of $12,675 for the Dylan Hissam & Associates property at 1937 Grace Ave. to replace damaged glass blocks on the frontage and side of the building. The second grant was approved for Optimum Care SWFL Inc., 2023 Canal St., in the not-to-exceed amount of $50,000. The funds will be used for exterior patching and painting, exterior paver installation, new fencing, parking lot installation, new signage and soffit and fascia replacement. The third approved grant was awarded to Twenty-One Hundred Second Street LLP, 1715 Monroe St., in the not-to–exceed amount of $100,000 for exterior patching and painting. The final grant was approved in the not-to–exceed amount of $13,393 for Naples International Film Co., 2027 Monroe St., for exterior patching and painting, garage door replacement and signage.
