Gov. Ron DeSantis announced two judicial appointments to the 20th Judicial Circuit Court. Amanda Levy-Reis, of Bonita Springs, and James Stewart, of Naples, will serve as judges on the court. Levy-Reis has worked as a Florida Rural Legal Services staff attorney since 2023. Previously, she was a law clerk for the U.S. District Court. She fills the judicial vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Joseph Fuller. Stewart has served as deputy chief assistant state attorney in the 20th Judicial Circuit since 2022. He has served as an assistant state attorney since 2007. He fills the judicial vacancy created by the resignation of Judge James Sloan.
