Army Corps of Engineers issued a development permit July 29 for Tropicana Park in northwest Cape Coral, a project that has been on hold since Aug. 30, 2021. The final site plan for Tropicana Park, located at the west end of Tropicana Parkway West, was revised in June 2022 and includes a variety of features, including a kayak launch, beach area, boardwalk and floating dock.
