At 9 p.m. July 12, crews will close the on-ramps from Colonial to I-75 northbound and southbound. From 2 p.m. July 13 to 2 p.m. July 14, crews will close the interchange off-ramps between I-75 and Colonial, and crews will also close Colonial between Six Mile Cypress Parkway/Ortiz Avenue and Forum Boulevard. During the closure, I-75 northbound and southbound motorists will use the State Road 82/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard exit (Exit 138) and Ortiz Avenue or Forum Boulevard to reach Colonial. Upon opening July 14, drivers will be traveling in the final DDI configuration with signage and pavement markings guiding motorists through the interchange.
