Naples Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit providing therapeutic horseback riding and other equine-facilitated group services to children and adults with physical, social and mental health needs, received a $10,000 health and social services grant from First Horizon Foundation. The general operating funds will be used to care for NTRC’s herd of 14 therapy horses, as well as its programs, which include therapeutic riding, a summer camp, a mini horse outreach program, a horsemanship program for veterans, equine-facilitated psychotherapy and equine-facility learning.
