Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency approved two Commercial Property Improvement Matching Grants for the Downtown Redevelopment Area. The first grant was approved for Valoro Arms Owner LLC, 2310 First St., in the not-to-exceed amount of $50,000. The funds will be used to patch exterior damage from Hurricane Ian and repaint the façade. The second was approved for the not-to-exceed amount of $29,085 for The Oasis Restaurant, 2260 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Oasis will use this grant to install new fencing, parking lot improvements, new signage and replacement of damaged awnings.
