Grace Place for Children and Families received a $210,000 grant from the Women’s Foundation of Collier County to launch its Middle School Career Discovery Academy, a pilot program debuting in fall 2025. The initiative will introduce middle school girls in Golden Gate to careers in manufacturing, health care, technology and entrepreneurship through mentorship and hands-on instruction. The program aims to build confidence and career readiness by connecting students with local women professionals.
