Charlotte Harbor Rotary Club and IHOP Port Charlotte will host a Texas flood relief fundraiser from 7 a.m. to noon Aug. 9 at 1789 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. Guests are encouraged to dress Western and enjoy IHOP’s full menu, including a cowboy breakfast of steak, eggs and pancakes. IHOP will donate 10% of all proceeds, with hourly 50/50 raffles and donation jars supporting Rotary District 5840’s disaster relief efforts. The Charlotte Harbor Rotary Club, which has donated more than $47,000 to local literacy and supports global causes, such as polio eradication and cleft palate surgery, will kickstart the fundraiser with an initial donation.
