Insomnia Cookies is set to open its first store in Fort Myers. The new bakery south of Florida Gulf Coast University in the University Village Shopping Center marks the brand’s 10th store in Florida and 236th location nationwide. The brand is known for serving warm cookies all day and late into the night. The store at 19800 Village Center Drive, Suite 230-B, serves everything from the classic Chocolate Chunk cookie to favorites such as Snickerdoodle and Confetti Deluxe, a full slate of vegan options, a frequently rotating limited-edition menu, new brookies, brownies, blondies and ice cream. Hours are 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 3 a.m. on weekends.
