Island Wellness Pharmacy, set to open later this year, launched a new pickup kiosk located inside Jerry’s Foods for Sanibel residents to access vital medications. This kiosk will operate in partnership with Cypress Wellness Pharmacy in Fort Myers. It features 22 temperature-controlled lockers and uses advanced technology to provide a secure, user-friendly experience. Sanibel patients wishing to use the kiosk can have their prescriptions sent directly to Cypress Wellness Pharmacy by their health care providers. During the construction of the new Island Wellness Pharmacy, prescriptions will be delivered to the kiosk twice a week for a $3 delivery fee. Once opened, the kiosk pickup service will be offered at no extra charge to patients on the island. Situated within Jerry’s Foods, access to the kiosk is limited to the store’s operating hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Island Wellness Pharmacy will be located in Jerry’s Shopping Center, 1700 Periwinkle Way, Unit 7, on Sanibel.
