North Naples’ LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort completed its comprehensive 18-month restoration project following damage from Hurricane Ian in 2022. The work encompassed 189 of the resort’s guest rooms, the complete rebuild and elevated design enhancements of its Beach House and the restoration of four beachside pools. Gulf and Bay towers underwent complete exterior and interior rejuvenations. In-room, eco-friendly enhancements feature electric mirrors with steel chassis, along with WaterSense toilets aimed at reducing water consumption. Beach House enhancements include in-room furniture and new climate control systems. It features private outdoor fire pits for the ground floor beachfront lanai rooms, expansive walk-in showers, modern wood grain tile flooring and upgraded patio furniture.
