Lee County Industrial Development Authority became the Horizon Foundation’s first-ever Innovator Investor at the $50,000 level, the highest giving tier in the nonprofit’s 30-year history. The Foundation supports Lee County’s economic development through private-sector funding and collaboration with over 100 investors. The IDA, a seven-member board appointed by county commissioners, promotes industrial growth and facilitates low-interest financing through Industrial Development Revenue Bonds. As an Innovator Investor, the IDA will receive benefits such as speaking opportunities, event access and branding on the Foundation’s website.
