The Lee County Tax Collector’s Office is hosting a school supply drive through Aug. 15 to benefit local educators. Donations of pencils, crayons, glue sticks and other essentials can be dropped off at any of the six service center locations during business hours. All items will go to the Education Resource Center at The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, which provides teachers with free classroom supplies. Those unable to donate in person can contribute through the foundation’s Amazon Wishlist, with items shipped directly to the center.
