PulteGroup closed on 145 homesites in the new Whispering Lakes community in Lehigh Acres. Officials from Centex, a national brand of PulteGroup, said the company will offer low-maintenance new construction single-family homes suited for first-time homebuyers and families of all sizes. The homes will feature three to five bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and 1,400 to 2,800 square feet of living space with two-car garages. Planned for 290 homes on 80 acres, Whispering Lakes is located off Sunrise Boulevard directly across from the newly opened Amanecer Elementary School and newly constructed Lehigh Acres Middle School.
