Lee County’s Riverdale High School is undergoing renovations on its building that has remained unchanged since first opening its doors in 1972. When students walk into the school in a few weeks, they will be welcomed into new science labs, classrooms, an expanded parking lot and ongoing construction. The biggest upgrade will be to Riverdale’s plumbing system. The price tag for renovations is $108 million, $63 million more than the original estimation in 2020, WINK News reports.
