Fort Myers City Council completed a grant agreement awarding The Salvation Army $13,093,500 to construct a new Fort Myers facility center with three public service buildings: The Emergency Supportive Shelter will house people experiencing homelessness; The Public Shelter & Community Connector will be a storm-resilient public shelter and dining facility; and The Life Recovery Supportive Shelter will provide addiction recovery services.
