ShorePoint Health Punta Gorda hospital completed renovations of its lobby, patient registration area, intensive care unit and outpatient services suites. The lobby at the 208-bed hospital, 809 E Marion Ave., has modern aesthetics and enhanced accessibility, while the newly equipped ICU features cutting-edge technology. The outpatient services and check-in suites were relocated to the front of the hospital and will accommodate a wide range of services, including lab work, imaging and preadmission testing. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
