Stevens Construction completed Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida’s new 60,000-square-foot medical office building and corporate headquarters in south Fort Myers. Situated at 14601 Hope Center Loop near the northeast corner of 6 Mile Cypress and Metro parkways, the specialists in comprehensive musculoskeletal care’s new home houses 60 exam rooms to serve its 16 physicians and 20 mid-level health care practitioners. OSSWF offers a full suite of on-site services with six X-ray rooms, six procedure rooms and two MRI suites, which required the construction of a specialized room protected by radio frequency shielding to contain the electric and magnetic transmissions of the MRI. It also features nurse stations, offices, conference rooms, storage, a lounge and support services. The second floor houses an expansive physical and occupational therapy suite.
